Planning at a glance

1
Project
A project is any undertaking, carried out by an individual or a team, including research and design, that is carefully planned to achieve defined goals and objectives.

In general it is a sequence of planned events: a "set of interrelated tasks and operations to be executed over a certain period and within certain budget and other involved limitations".

Project planning is the art of defining how to start and complete a project in a certain timeframe, with planned stages and designated resources. A simple view of project planning breaks the activity into these steps:
• setting measurable objectives
• identifying deliverables
• scheduling
• planning tasks
It also encompasses human resources, communication methods and risk management.

Engineering projects are main part of our project planning.

Business
Business is the organized efforts and activities of an individual, organization, or enterprising entity engaged in commercial, industrial, or professional activities to produce and offer goods and services to the target market.
Businesses can be for-profit entities or non-profit organizations.

Generally, a business begins with a business concept (the idea) and a name, continues with planning and ends up with commissioning functioning.

Business Planning at first is doing market researh to determine whether turning the idea into a business is feasible and if the business can deliver value to consumers and owner, then is encompassing all the goals, strategies and actions that the idea needs to ensure the business’s survival, prosperity, and growth.

Investment
The act of committing money, capital , or asset to an endeavor now to obtain income or profit in the future is called investment.

Investments can be broken into three basic groups:

1- Ownership (Stocks, Business, Real Estate, Precious Objects, ....)

2- Lending (Savings, Bonds, ....)

3- Cash Equivalents (Money Market Funds, ....).

Investment Planning is the process of matching your financial goals and objectives with your financial resources.
